  4. Great fighting spirit and skills from both Shaolin Wahnam and Kinabalu Fighters! Furthermore, my two thumbs up for Shaolin Wahnam for they have truly brought back the glory of traditional Kung Fu by proving that traditional Kung Fu can just be as combat efficient as Muay Thai. Bravo!!!

  5. Anyone can look decent in slow-mo touch sparring, I fail to see how it bought back "glory" to traditional kung fu..And this is coming from a traditional martial artist who studies both kung fu and muay thai..The way wahnam students were standing and positioning would get ripped apart by a "full forced" Muay thai technique as the wahnam students side ward stands opens them up to shin kicks to the thighs(a lot of nerve endings)and leg sweeps and out stretched arms leaving the ribs and head open to kicks and knees, and thats a fact. There are better examples of good kung fu vs "Muay Thai" on the net and this is not one of them this is just "technique sparring" doesnt prove much here.. sorry

  6. good techniques.wahnam students did a good job.however the sparring techniques had lot of defensive techniques.this techniques would have a bit of problem in ring because these are more of maintaining distance from the opponent perhaps why they were getting their ribs kicked as it was open.the techniques focuses more on maintaining distances as its more advantage to block it.and a little bit of punching and side-roundkicks techniques can be done along with it.then shaolin wont be problem
